Probably one of the most easily-identifiable signature foods of Iloilo City is Batchoy. Batchoy is a soup with egg noodles, freshly chopped spring onions, pork offal, chopped garlic, black pepper, chicaron, and in some instances, fresh egg.
Batchoy originally originated in the District of La Paz in Iloilo City. Many would say that the best and original La Paz Batchoy originated at the eateries near the La Paz Public Market.

Before I actually flew to Roxas City, there is only one thing in my mind: seafoods, seafoods, and some more seafoods!
This quiet and charming city of 126,352 residents (2000 census) holds the distinction as the Philippines Seafood Capital.
