During our recent Malacañang Tour hosted by Ivan Man Dy, we had our fine dine merienda at La Cocina de Tita Moning right after the 2hour+ tour.

Fine Dine merienda, as what they would call it. And Fine Dine, at least in La Cocina de Tita Moning’s stadards.

I was surprised at how they actually defined merienda as foods were spread on the buffet table: Kangkong salad with almond and vinaigrette, Chicken Galantina, Paella, Pudding with with yummy custard, and Lemongrass tea.

Yes, that’s just merienda. Their full course melas are much more fabulous and bongga!

I love the Chicken Galantina and Pudding so much! I even got 2 slices of Galantina. Yummy. The texture is just so perfect. Very delicate flavor.

The pudding is good too. The sweetness of the custard is just OK. The consistency is perfect. Not too soft and not too hard, but stillhas the “melt in your mouth” feel.

Dining in La Cocina de Tita Moning is strictly by reservation only. YouFor reservations, you may contact :

I normally don’t go to Robinson’s Galleria. It’s quite far from my place, and it’s location is a bit far from the Ortigas MRT Station. But Ravioli could be the ultimate reason why I should go back and visit Robinson’s Galleria again!

Ravioli I the newest pasta place in Robinson’s Galleria and its location is right in the middle of the food court.

Yes, we all know that most foods in the food court are affordable but tastes horrible, or at least bland. Not in the case of Ravioli.

Ravioli is actually a kind if pasta usually square or rectangular in shaped and filled with assorted ingredients, like meat, spinach, and whatnot.

Ravioli in Robinson’s Galleria serves only pasta in its freshest state. And when we say fresh we mean pastas are made right in the store visible to the customers.

The owners of this latest pasta shop said that they want to uplift what we call the “Food Court Dining Experience”. But what is good with Ravioli is that their prices are very affordable.

There are actually four types of Ravioli to order, and other pastas include Spaghetti Bolognese, Bacon Carbonara Fettucine, among others.

The store’s best-seller is the Tomato and Chorizo Ravioli. I love it. It’s my personal favorite. I love the sweetness of the tomatoes and the subtle flavor of the chorizo. My other favorite is the Spinach Ravioli. Truly fantastic!

Ravioli is located at the Food Court Area, 2nd Level, Robinson’s Galleria, Ortigas Pasig City.

The newest, coolest barkada hang-out await pizza and pasta fans as Greenwich reveals its bigger and newly redesigned store on the fourth floor of Robinsons Galleria.

The event was graced by Box Office King and Greenwich endorser John Lloyd Cruz, and the Greenwich leadership team composed of president Ariel Fermin, human resources director Yam Gruet, regional business unit head for Mega Manila Annabelle Narciso, media head Luis Velasco III and Francis Flores.

The number of Greenwich fast-casual dining concept stores is now close to 50. All these stores aim to serve young people and their friends in key areas of the country, including Manila, Cebu, Baguio and Pampanga.

The renovated store offers a relaxing atmosphere that is perfect for bonding with friends. A re-styled counter welcomes the gang, while soft lighting and colorful walls set the mood for longer conversations. Meanwhile, cozy chairs and couches, as well as murals and store interior designs created by top design groups Team Manila, Blue Bottle Inc. and Publicis Jimenez Basic, encourage customers to stay and savor the “Greenwich experience”—one that offers best-tasting pizza and pasta while enjoying the company of the barkada. The breezier layout also boasts of a more open kitchen, allowing customers to see how freshly prepared their orders are. The whole look brings to mind a posh cafe, complete with baked desserts and premium coffee that complement Greenwich’s delicious pizza and pasta specialties.

As if proving the store’s capacity to enhance and extend moments with friends, John Lloyd, his Greenwich barkada and their media guests stayed well after the event for some chit chat.

In the following months, more Greenwich stores will be sporting the restyled look, giving customers cool spaces where they can relax and enjoy themselves. To date, Greenwich already has over 240 branches, making it the Philippines’ favorite pizza chain.

Many are always tricked into believing that great food, fine dining experience in a uniquely Victorian-Inspired restaurant would scratch your budget. But Cesca Wine Cafe is something that is new, and will break all these stereotypes.

Located at the new hangout place Il Terazzo along Tomas Morato Quezon City, Cesca Wine Cafe is a place that exudes class. By just looking at its interiors, classy furniture pieces, its glistening chandeliers one would probably get intimidated by getting having a meal here.

But when I got the chance to examine its menu recently, I was a bit surprised that one would not need to shell out a fortune to experience fine dining.

Our slow-paced 4 hour lunch featured 8 great tasting foods from Cesca Restaurant’s menu.

For starter, we were offered Pumpkin Soup. The soup is good. its rich velvety texture can really be felt.

For appetizers we were served with Beef Salpicao with lots of sliced garlic and mushrooms. I love it! the meat cubes are just so tender and well marinated.

We were also served slices of fresh salmon with dill olives and capers on its side. I love the salmon. very smooth texture and has no stinky (malansa) odor and flavor.

For the main course we were served herb roasted chicken. This is probably one of my favorite during our food tasting session. The flavor of the herbs is very evident. It is served with a sauce on it side, but I prefer to finish my chicken as it is, no added sauced. Perfect!

Fillet of Dory was next in line. I thought I already had the best dish when I tried the chicken, but the fish fillet is superbly good! Dory is probably one of the most boring fishes to cook. It doesn’t have any flavor. But Cesca Wine Cafe was able to pull off a great tasting fillet. This is my personal favorite!

Pizza and Pasta were next in order. The pasta is OK but I loved the pizza more. It has goat cheese! and its topping’s so thick! A must-try.

All in all the lunch experience is great! At least now I know that fine dining experience need not be expensive. There’s always Cesca Wine Cafe for the great food, good ambiance at a good price you’ll definitely not regret.
