• Feasting on La Marea Desserts!

  La Marea has been on my hitlist since I was planning to go back to Cebu. This quaint cafe serves probably one of the best desserts in this side of the country.

  

  On my first day in Cebu City, some friends and I headed to The Walk in IT Park for our after dinner dessert. I was supposed to get the warm brownie cup, the house specialty but the leche flan is just too tempting!

  So I needed up getting a leche flan for my sugar fix. I have read a lot of good reviews about La Marea bout honestly, the leche flan failed me. The sweetness is way too low. and the consistency, I find it too soft.

  

  By the next day, I made sure to order the warm brownie cup. Its a warm brownie topped with vanilla ice cream.

  It is heavenly. I love it so much. The cold temperature of the ice cream blends with the warmth of the brownie. It has to be eaen immediately or else the ice cream would become soup on top of the brownie. It melts pretty fast!

  

  Now I know why people keep on raving about this warm brownie cup. Sobrang sarap! I should order this again when I get back to Cebu. Hopefully next month

  And if only I can bring this back home to Manila as a pasalubong! Hahah

   Similar to Triple chocolate meltdown with warm hot chocolate fudge inside a moist chocolate cake. side with vanilla ice cream. Yummy love this dessert its on Applebee’s restaurant. one of the things i like to go to now and then.
