SUGARLOADED experiences Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant
Jan 23Just recently, SUGARLOADED was invited to join a bloggers dinner/food tasting event at Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant in Megamall. Bigby’s is not new to me. I once passed by their branch in Bacolod but was unable to dine in there.
Bigby’s Cafe and Restaurant is Cagayan de Oro’s Pride which started in 1998. Their branch in Manila opened its doors last December 20, 2008.
Bigby’s is not simply a place to sit and dine, but also a destination to experience. The restaurant’s theme is aptly: Travel.
The Manila branch is filled with bits and pieces from different places in the world. Different kinds of visual treats include framed collection of keychains, swords, badges and spoons.
Its cozy interior is made up of wooden panels and clear glasses with writings that match the chairs and tables. The members of the crew are even dressed like explorers eager to guide diners to the ultimate Bigby’s food trip.
the menu itself is an adventure all on its own. Delectable dishes are inspired from here and abroad. A taste of Bigby’s is a taste of the world. And true to its name, Bigby’s serves food in big sizes and allows you to leave the place full and satisfied big time. The portions are so huge that two or three more can even share a dish or a lone diner can still have some left to bring home.

I am a frequent diner of their Ayala Cebu branch…whenever I get to fly to the city, of course.
While the food is quite enjoyable, the prices are akin to mid-priced (by my standards) restos like Don Hen, CafeBola and the like.
A good alternative to Friday’s, Chili’s and CPK for sure. -
What kind of dessert is the last picture? It looks so yummy and really filling.

Definitely one of my favorite restos. It’s reason enough for me to head to Megamall!
