Panulce Cakes and Pastry Shop
Dec 18One of the shops that has really caught my attention while in Roxas was the Panulce Cakes and Pastry Shop. Panulce is an Ilonggo term meaning dessert.
This quaint café serves a wide array of caffeinated drinks as well as smoothies. Panulce, as the name implies serves a variety of cakes and pastries for dessert.
So when I went there, I ordered a piece of Lemon Square, White Chocolate Cake and brownies. Their cakes are reasonably priced at around P10 each. Among the three I ordered, I liked White Chocolate the most. It is sweet but moist. Lemon Square is good, it’s just that I’m not really a big fan of sour foods. And the brownies? I didn’t find anything spectacular in it.
To complete the whole dessert experience I ordered a tall glass of strawberry smoothie. For P68 it is already a good bargain. I love it actually. Just enough sweetness hinted with the sour characteristics of fresh strawberry is heaven. It was a great way to refresh myself from all the walking I did while in Roxas City.
Panulce Café is located at the ground floor of Gaisano City, Roxas City.

Hmmmm… was in Roxas City before, had the pleasure to taste some of Panulce products but didn’t have the chance to savour their fruity drinks. My favorites are their mamon, ensaymada, profiteroles, diet cake, carrot walnut and the very original coco pandan. Their marketing strategy is very effective – distinctly satisfying flavours for very reasonable prices!!! Surely, this humble cake shop will stand the test of time. All the best to Panulce!!!
… and to your quaint blog

Hey!. I am going to check it, since I saw a comment in another site regarding \”Cakes and Pastry Shop | Sugarloaded by Enrico Dee\”. Someone related to chocolate strawberries delivered. Thanks anyway.
