Krispy Kreme opens 9th store in Gateway Cubao

Earlier today, I went to the Gateway Mall in Cubao Quezon City to witness the opening of the 9th store of Krispy Kreme doughnut store.

This opening allows Krispy Kreme to bring their delightful treats to the visitors of this multi-awarded lifestyle and entertainment hub of Quezon City.

And true to Krispy Kreme’s tradition of fun and excitement, the Gateway Mall branch opening is celebrated with prizes for the early birds. A year’s supply of Original glazed doughnuts was awarded to the first costumer waiting at the store’s doorsteps. The second customer gets 6 months supply of doughnuts while the third lucky customer gets a three months supply of Krispy Kreme signature doughnuts. The 4th to 200th customer each gets to receive a month’s supply of doughnuts.

I was able to catch Jehzeel of Jehzlau Concepts http://www.jehzlau-concepts.com/ falling in line. He was customer #82 and according to him he was already there since 4AM! Wow. I can’t imagine people camping out in Gateway Mall in Cubao for Krispy Kreme doughnuts!

Krispy Kreme currently holds the Asian Record for the earliest customer to fall in line for an opening day with Michael Testa, aged 13, camping out in the Mall of Asia Krispy Kreme branch for three days.

Krispy Kreme stores are located at the Bonifacio high Street, SM Megamall, Greenhills Shopping Center, Trinoma Mall, SM Mall of Asia, Jaka Bldg Ayala Ave., and Robinson’s Galleria.
